Today, the Congressional Black Caucus threw in the towel on fair
elections and joined CNN in media-sponsored-election tampering by
excluding all candidates who oppose war and who support people over
corporations. Failed by their party leadership and looking into
the bright lights of the well-funded media entity CNN, the
Congressional Black Caucus withdrew its support today for all the
principles of Martin Luther King, Jr., by co-sponsoring an
election-tampering debate that excluded all candidates who have stood
most
strongly for rights of African-Americans, all candidates with a voting
record supportive of human rights for all, all candidates who have
opposed war with Iraq and oppose war with Iran, all candidates who back
the people over the corporate agenda and all candidates who
opposed the disenfranchisement of African-American voters in
2004. To the CBC, equality for all Americans, human rights,
voting rights and peace are no longer as important as a a couple hours
in the spotlight of CNN. This is the message the CBC sends to
America with its promotional of three candidates who backed the war or
continued occupation in Iraq, who support war with Iran, who all voted
for the
Patriot Act and/or its renewal, who stood silent when African Americans
were disenfranchised in Ohio or who were present to vote in support of
that suppression and who have supported the human rights abuses in Iraq
and elsewhere. Why would a little glamor allow the CBC to support
the silencing of all who opposed these atrocities?
The Democratic Party through inaction, has supported 2008
election fraud and vote
tampering. Democrats, objectively looking at the primaries, point
out that the exclusion of candidates from debates gives the false
appearance that excluded candidates have dropped out. This is the
same as lying to voters going into their voting booths as to which
marks on the ballot are valid. Because some candidates have
dropped out since the ballots were finalized, the voters only know who
is in the race by who they see on TV. They do not realize that
CNN, the DNC and the CBC are all parties to preventing them from
knowing that actual anti-war candidates are still in the race.
This appears to constitute both voter fraud and vote tampering, and
is a matter that the FEC and justice department should investigate.
Dennis Kucinich received the support of the most powerful group of
Latinos, the largest voting block in California, last weekend.
Will he be allowed to debate on January 31st in Los Angeles? The
Creative Youth News Team is still looking for answers on that
one. Democratic organizations inside California have endorsed
Kucinich. If Art Torres fails to keep Kucinich in the January
31st debate, then a voter rebellion from Democrats is expected in
California in November, 2008. One of the biggest losers is
expected to be Nancy Pelosi, who has previously run opposed in her San
Francisco primaries. Independent challenger Cindy Sheehan is
expecting a landslide victory over Pelosi, and most Democrats in San
Francisco are counting the days until Pelosi is out of office.
Across America, Democratic blogs show an angry reaction to the failure
of the Democratic Party to stand up for Democratic principles. In
today's blogs, one commentary has tells it all: "Free Speech Dies
on Martin Luther King Day."
