According to the MSNBC's latest figures, state by state, Clinton
has over a million and a half more popular votes than Obama,
nationwide. Without Florida and Michigan, she still has a substantial
lead in the popular vote. So why do the networks neglect to
mention this fact or falsely state that Obama has more votes? Perhaps
the stations ought to get a grammar school student to add for
them. Their numbers might he more accurate. But, when they
were counting their winning streak for Obama, they forgot that, in the
middle of it, Clinton won New Mexico. In other words those 11
straight wins for Obama didn't exist. Why did the stations go out
of their way to pretend that New Mexico didn't exist? Why have
they gone out of their way to mention that Clinton has more popular
votes?
In February, the Rezko trial started. Obama's name has repeatedly
been mentioned in this criminal trial. Stories in the tabloids
exposing multiple Obama scandals were delayed until after the March
Super Tuesday, and researchers admit that this is just the
beginning. Each of these scandals seems to dwarf the allegations
against
Eliot Spitzer, the soon to be former Governor of New York. What
does this mean for the nomination? Democrats have a tendency to
be hard-headed when charging into a losing election. The
California Democratic Party appeared intentionally to throw two
California Governor's races to Arnold Schwarzenegger. The
Democratic Party seems to prefer being the complaining party to being
the winning party.
The resignation of Admiral William Fallon has sparked fears of war with
Iran. In the event of war with Iran prior to the November
election, the electorate's history shows they will want someone seen as
experienced in war to lead. The electorate has a history of voting out
of fear and attraction to catchy phrases. There are always Diebold
tabulators to make sure the vote appears to follow fear instead of
reason. A Senator with connections to organized crime is
less likely to inspire confidence than a former first lady. Unless war
with Iran is debunked, John McCain is likely to be perceived as the
best to lead in war. He was a POW decades ago and is seen as a
war hero. Strategically, the Democrats best chance of winning in
November lays in impeaching Bush and preventing war with Iran.
Will the Democrats throw the election of 2008? If they ignore the
wishes of Florida, Ohio, Michigan, California, New York, New Jersey,
and Texas voters, they can count out the guaranteed support of any of
those states in November. Voters sometimes retaliate for
injustices done to their states.
Some feel this will be the year of the independent. Major state
retaliation could result in a victory for Cynthia McKinney. In
November, the results will be seen.
