COSTUME CASTLE: THE OPEN DRESSING ROOM FOR MINORS
Special Report from the Creative Youth News Team

October 26, 2007
While Child Protective Services is harassing citizens who live near schools, the real perverts are running businesses where children are encouraged to change clothes in public.  Children wear clothes to and from school.  At Costume Castle, perverts may get a chance to see their favorite kid in the nude.  There wasn't any posted rule against cameras.  Costume Castle may be the center of the next kid nudie movie.

At the Costume Castle, in the Tustin Marketplace (California), there is no dressing room.  Children are to change into tight-fitting outfits, such as leotards, in front of the other customers.  Any idea how many customers there are in a costume shop at this time of year?

At Lake Forest, there is a dressing room.  But parents are not allowed to wait in line for their kids.  If a parent does, the kid will not be allowed to use the dressing room without going back to the end of the line, which could take half an hour or more.  If a child wants to try out more than one outfit, the second one can't be tried on in the dressing room without another half hour wait.  Kids are told that the only other alternative is to change outside the dressing room.

Do any of the people who are trying to make laws about sex offenders see anything wrong with this?  Our generation does.  Perhaps, it's time to tell Costume Castle to respect the privacy of kids or close down.
