Final Democratic Party Voting
"Blows away" may be an understatement when Kucinich got 76.7% of a poll
of 80,153 Democratic votes while the next highest Democratic competitor
received in the single-digits in a new national primary conducted by an
independent
group,
IndependentPrimary.com. Kucinich received over
8 times as many votes as the second place finisher and left the other
candidates in the dust, confused and wondering why the average voter
doesn't want them.
Independentprimary.com kept track of who voted and made sure each
person only voted once. To prevent cross-overs, voters were
only allowed to vote once in one of the races: Democratic, Republican
or Green. This increased the accuracy of the polls.
Supporters of John Edwards who have been trying to convince Democrats
that Edwards is an electable Kucinich wound up with egg on on their
faces and looking like dillusional and out of touch with reality.
Kucinich supporters, who have read
John Edwards
speeches wherein he convinced the Senate Democrats to vote for war,
have been questioning the rationality of Edwards supporters for quite
some time.
This poll followed big
wins for Kucinich in
polls done by groups that had been heavily pushing John Edwards.
In the Democracy for America Poll, Kucinich creamed all other
candidates, winning 47 out of 50 states against all delcared
candidates. John Edwards was only able to pick up the state of
Washington, there. Edwards lost Washington to Kucinich in the
Progressive Democrats for America poll, where Kucinich won 46 out of 50
states, leaving Edwards supporters to wonder why people weren't taking
their canddiate seriously.
In all these polls, Obama and Clinton have shown that their good press
doesn't translate into support from voters who research the issues.
Ron Paul, similarly showed that he resonates with voters, winning his
poll of 25, 269 Republican voters with 93%. His competitors were
also in the single digits.
Final Republican Party Voting
McKinney proved that she is the most electable Green, winning the
Green poll with 80% of the vote.
With real voters establishing they support Kucinich, Paul and McKinney,
one has to wonder who the news media is polling. Some suspect
that their polling subjects are members of the Bush and Clinton
Administrations.
Voters have saying, for some time, that they are tired of tha
choice between the lesser of the evils and want to have a general
election decision of the best against the best against the best.
For voters, this election would give them a choice of Dennis Kucinich
vs Ron Paul vs Cynthia McKinney. If one of these three wins their
respective primary, that candidate is likely to have a landslide
candidate in November.
