Karl
Rove? Who needs him when Bush has Democraticunderground.com ready
and willing to do his bidding and destroy the lives of every Democrat
and liberal who gets out of line. Forget the fact that most of
America wants to impeach George W. Bush. Since the election, when
the public voted for a party they expected to impeach Bush and get us
out of the New Vietnam, the public has found that the election was
stolen. This time it was stolen by a group of right-wing
Democrats, known as the DLC. The goal of the DLC is to cut the
taxes of the super-wealthy, end protections for consumers, end trade
restrictions that protect the environment and workers in America, end
educational funding and help build up the war-profiteering
machine. And this is part of the Democratic Party? It
certainly is. DLC Rahm Emanuel was in charge of the Democratic
Party's funding for Congressional candidates and he worked hard to make
sure that any Democrat who would do what the people voted for was
defeated in the primary. If a primary winner seemed to likely to
do the will of the voters, Rahm made sure that candidates got little or
now funding. To DLC Rahm, a Republican is better than a liberal
Democrat. But why just call him DLC Rahm. During the Gulf
War I, Rahm didn't feel like putting on an American uniform and risking
his life for his country, even though he supported sending young
Americans to die in his place. He put on an Israeli uniform and
did vehicle maintenance out of the danger zone. Given a choice
between loyalty to the United States and loyalty to the government of
Israel, Rahm made his choice. If the American people had known
that the DCCC picks were really picks of someone whose loyalty was to
Israel, they might have had buyers remorse.
There were good Democratic candidates running for office, such as
Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney and Steve Young. These
individuals were opposed to the DLC, rich man's policies and to the
wars that Israeli Army Rahm has been forcing on
America. No American Uniform For Me Rham didn't help
them at all. A DLC conservative tried to defeat Dennis in his
primary and was trounced by the voters. Diebold rigged Cynthia's
election towards Republican-backed Hank Johnson by leaving her name off
voting computers in her own runoff and by having the machines switch
votes from McKinney to Johnson as voters watched. Did Rahm know
about the rigging? Of course, he did. His office received
continuous complaints on the day of the rigging. He ignored the
complaints because the truth might have ended Republican-backed
Johnson's chances of replacing a liberal Democrat. Steve Young
would have won his race with a little more funding. He got more votes
than a Democrat has ever received in his district, and the district
went from a Republican majority district to a district where no party
had a majority of registered voters. Steve's problem was that he
actually wanted to do what the American people thought the Democrats
would do and this did not sit well enough with Rahm to cause him to do
his job and help out Steve.
Oh, this is being side-tracked onto Bait and Switch 2006. Now,
how do you keep those in line who try to remind the Democratic leaders
that the people voted for change and not the same-old, same old?
What do you do if you are Bush and you don't want the Democrats in
Congress to follow the wishes of the people? You bring in the
Democratic Underground to silence and destroy anyone reminding America
of the real reason the Democrats were elected. That is exactly
what the Democratic Underground is doing in the cruelest, most
malicious, most vile way imaginable.
This week, a high school student posted multiple postings on the
Democratic Underground regarding impeachment. The Democratic
Underground has already been silencing a great many of its former
members, with banned members probably outnumbering current
members by a 500 to 1 ratio. Leave it to a high school student to
complain when she is banned for posting in a supposedly Democratic
group about impeachment. Those who were banned by the DU for backing
impeachment were invited to another forum, where they were told they
would be treated better. It was a trap. She signed up and
posted a note about the DU and the sky fell in. Skinner, the DU
adminstrator, got
together with the head of the other forum and posted the most
slanderous and false comments imaginable against her. There have
been stories about how DU has hurt others in a similar fashion.
The lies were of such an extreme nature that, if there weren't too many
gullible Americans who believe what they read, the lies would be
laughable. Basically, she wound up being characterized as a
transsexual homophobe, supposedly both a guy and a girl who was
homophobic because according to an alleged quote, she supported
equality for everyone and equality is homophobic. It's a crazy
argument but it was Skinner who came up with it. The worst
part is that they printed her name, something that was not
public information. Both the DU and the organization that helped
the DU hurt the girl had privacy policies that both violated with the
release of her name. With all the social games that sometimes go
on in high schools, hopefully this false characterization will only
backfire on the DU and on the site that set her up. This has been
the subject of considerable discussion within the youth rights
community in my county. Those who haven't yet acquired any
real rights can be destroyed and slandered by those who have all the
rights. If the student had been over 18, would the site that
posted the false comments have given her a chance to say whether the
statements were true or false before posting them? Or is it that
any website with the name Democrat in the title cannot be trusted to be
on the side of real Americans or Democrats?
Since the election, the DU has banned members for
posting
Kucinich's call for cutting the funding to Iraq and for supporting
impeachment. The DU's practice of banning liberals and then
attacking them for speaking out is not new. It has a long history of
this. Here are some links to a place where you will
find some of the Democratic Underground's past victims:

and

The people who posted those sad stories are not Republicans or
bigots. They are real individuals, who are sad that they are not
allowed to speak the truth at the Democratic Underground.
Youth Rights supporters in my county conducted an investigation of the
Democratic Underground.
Individuals joined for the purpose of seeing if supporting impeachment
would get them banned. They were banned so fast, it was
unbelievable. Individuals also went in to see if they would be
banned, simply for being young. These individuals were also
banned. The DU people knew that the high school student was
younger. This
is probably why the other site allowed the DU to defame
her. None
of those involved in the test posted anything offensive but were still
banned. If any
of them were to speak out, elsewhere, they would probably be defamed in
the same way the student above was defamed?
When organizations like the Democratic Underground have to resort to
banning and lies in order to keep the public from knowing about the
popularity of impeachment, the public sentiment towards impeachment
must be very strong. Will Congress do what the people want?
Not if the Democratic Underground and Bush have his way.
The truth is now out that those who dare to reveal the dark side of the
Democratic Underground can expect major retribution.
