MEDIA GOLDEN CANDIDATE DROPS OUT OF PRESIDENTIAL RACE
Special Report by the Creative Youth News Team

Media favorite John Edwards has dropped out of the race for President of the United States.  Most of his delegates will be going to Hillary Clinton.

While Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton received the lion's share of the media publicity, much of that publicity was negative.  Clinton was barraged with anti-feminist and anti-Bill attacks.  Obama received a fair number of media attacks as well.  Genuine anti-war candidates Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel were hidden from view and excluded from media debates.  The media anointed war-proponent John Edwards as the anti-war candidate and supplied him with almost 1000% positive publicity. Despite low poll numbers and opposition from the anti-war community, John Edwards was included in all debates and received positive publicity each time Obama and Clinton were mentioned in the news.  Though the news media gave John Edwards every advantage, the voters did not care for him and he lost every race he entered.  Though Kucinich had received almost no publicity, Kucinich won most major national polls (the Nation, Progressive Democrats of America, Democracy For America, OnTheIssues, IndependentPrimary) while Edwards said that the voters would make him their first pick.  The voters proved Edwards to be wrong.

The Edwards campaign used the theme that a black man cannot win, a white woman cannot win and the best cannot win. It was felt that such a strategy would cause the voters to support him by default.  The voters didn't agree.

Youth  activists called long ago for Edwards to quit the race after Edwards was caught planning to rig the election through debate exclusion.  The media gave Edwards the debate exclusions he had wanted.  Anti-war candidate Dennis Kucinich was excluded from six debates just prior to past or upcoming primaries.  Unable to get out his message, Kucinich dropped from the Presidential race.  Kucinich supporters are still asking everyone to support their candidate for their purpose of getting peace delegates to the convention.  Kucinich's name remains on the ballots and his delegates will go to the convention.  Anti-war candidate Mike Gravel was also excluded from the debates, although he is still in the race for President.

The campaign of John Edwards is the Democratic campaign that has run most afoul of America's youth. Some of his proponents (Ahjamu Makalani and Jo Olson) had been accused of mistreating young activists who put together the Progressive Caucus of the California Democratic Party, of overturning elections to eliminate youth winners, of taking credit for the work of youth activists, and, in effect, of engaging in child slave labor practices by eliminating the expected compensation for work done by youth activists.  The 2004 campaign of John Edwards also ran afoul of America's youth when he proposed a plan to require community service, another form of child slave labor, for graduation.

While America's youth has won a victory in defeating John Edwards, many young Americans are still concerned about one of the campaigns on the Republican side. The Presidential campaign of  Mitt Romney has received substantial sums from the founders/directors of American gulag schools where middle class American children have been raped, tortured, and killed.
