Once again, the media is avoiding telling the whole truth when it comes to a major story.  Interestingly, the major TV stations and most newspapers are owned by Republican-corporations and the person for whom they are covering again is a Democrat.  While some Democrats are breathing a sigh of relief that President-elect Barack Obama's connection to Operation Board Games, the corruptions for which the Illinois Governor was recently arrested, has been muted by the press, other Democrats are concerned about the significant support Obama is receiving from Republican corporate executives.  During the primary, Evelyn Pringle, a long-time Democrat, wrote a  multipart article called "Barack Obama: Operation Board Games For Slumlords," that discussed Barack Obama's and Rod Blagojevich's involvement in political influence peddling.  A great deal has been written about this.  There are even Youtube videos on the scandal that won't be rehashed now, except to discuss the falure of the media to inform the public regarding Barack Obama.

The media's love for Barack Obama caused ABC, NBC, CNN and the Des Moines Iowa Register to keep genuine anti-war candidates out of the primary debates.  While Barack Obama's appointments are straight from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group, all organizations that seek to undermine democracy in sovereign nations and replace home rule with world corporate rule,  and from the Federsal Reserve, a private corporation that owns all money distributed in the United States on Federal Reserve Notes, the media has misportrayed the idea that Obama's nominations are fair and even-handed.  In fact, he hasn't appointed anyone yet who disagrees with Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz on any relevant monetary issue.    The Defense Department will continue to be run as a continuation of George W. Bush's war agenda by Bush/Obama appointee Robert Gates.  Even the Environmental Protection Agency will be run by individuals who have assisted corporate polluters in getting away with covering up the negative effects of their toxic waste.  Those who are snowed are progressives who believe that anything progressive is taking place in the Obama Administration.  The media has promoted a continuation of Bush's agenda under the guise of a Democratic Administration.

Although the media is sitting on Obama's involvement in Operation Board Games, Obama still has a D associated with his ballot designation.  Previous Democrats have discovered the Republican media will only play ball with Democratic leaders as long as there's something in it for the corporate elites.  The moment a Democrat acts like a Democrat, the media has historically blown the lid off his scandals.  This is the Catch-22 for the Democrats.  As long as Obama opposes the rights of the people, while supporting wars and the rights of the rich and powerful, the media may continue to back him.  The "may" is because sometimes the media backstabs Democrats who do Republican bidding.  If Obama does any of the stuff that his Democratic supporters have convinced themselves he'll do for them, the news stories will become more revealing - if the media follows its historical trend.

The Democrats may have lost the chance to govern when they chose the media favorite over honest politicians like Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel.  There was even suspicion that Clinton might turn on the corporations once in the top seat.  That's the main reason the media perfomed a sexist-oriented hatchet job on her.

One book, written during the primary seasons that has proven prphetic with regards to Obama's financial agenda was written by Democrat Webster Tarpley and called Obama: The Postmodern Coup.  Corrrectly,  Tarpley pointed out that Obama's main financial advisers were Zbigniew Brzezinski, David Rockefeller and Paul Adolph Vokcker of the Trialateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group.  Since that book was written, these men have come out of the closet  and been shown to be Obama's top economic advisors.  While Brzezinski's number one goal is to wipe out Russia (bye,bye Planet Earth), the bailout, the cabinet appointments and the lack of support for the little guy could have been foreseen by anyone reading that book.

Back to Operation Board Games, an appoach that Obama took to D.C., the main recipients of the bailout Obama pushed through Congress are primary contributors to Obama's campaign.  The buck temporarily stops with Blagojevich.  Research shows that the corruption does not stop with Blagojevich.
