PEACE RESEARCH GROUP ENDORSES KUCINICH, PAUL AND McKINNEY
VOTES FOR KUCINICH DO COUNT
Special Report by the Creative Youth News Team

Today, Peace Research Group VotePeace.info endorsed Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney and Ron Paul for President of the United States.  The endorsement covers political parties that will have primaries on Super Tuesday, 2008.  Though Kucinich has withdrawn, from the race, VotePeace noted that his name is still on the ballot and that votes for Kucinich will bring peace delegates to the Democratic National Convention.  Cynthia McKinney is running for the nominations of the Green and Peace and Freedom Parties.  Ron Paul recently came in second in the Republican Nevada caucuses.  There is a dispute as to whether Paul came in first or second in Louisiana.

VotePeace noted that these are the only candidates from their respective parties who opposed the war in Iraq and who oppose war with Iran.  On October 10, 2002,  Kucinich, McKinney and Paul led the fight against the Iraqi War Powers Resolution.  All have opposed war funding.   Through the present, Kucinich and Paul have led the fight in Congress against war with Iran and other Middle Eastern nations.

Cynthia McKinney ran afoul of AIPAC, a pro-war lobby that was angry about her opposition to the war and to the war funding and about her opposition to a bill to overthrow the legitimately elected government in Palestine.   Though she got a plurality in her 2006 primary, Republicans were allowed to cross over and vote in a Democratic runoff where voters complained that they saw Diebold voting computers change their McKinney votes to votes for Hank Johnson.  The Democratic Party failed to respond to a massive number of complaints from McKinney voters that they had been victims of voter harassment and vote tampering.  Before leaving Congress, Cynthia McKinney filed Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice.

In this term, Dennis J. Kucinich has filed Articles of Impeachment Against Dick Cheney.  At the time those articles were filed, he noted that it was a first step as he didn't want Cheney to become President after Bush was impeached.  Though Kucinich brought impeachment to the floor, maneuvering by the Democratic leadership resulted in impeachment being sent to committee to prevent a vote.  Tomorrow, January 28, 2008, Dennis Kucinich will be filing Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush.

Supporters of Kucinich, McKinney and Paul speak of their honesty and their loyalty to the people.  All three opposed the Patriot Act and the Real ID Act and have fought to restore freedoms, rights and liberties to the American people.
