Warning: IF YOU
SEE A BLACK CHILD IN ALISO VIEJO, CALIFORNIA, GET HIM PROTECTION AND AN
ATTORNEY ASAP!
This evening, the Chairman and Youth Chairman of the Patrick Henry
Democratic Club of America witnessed extreme vigilante racism in the
Aliso Viejo Town Center during a "Common Sense" concert in the park at
the Town Center. The Youth Chair is also the President of the
National Youth Rights Association of Oange County.
A very large White man running from the direction of the concert
towards Aliso Creek Road, yelled "Stop him. That guy stole some
money." As the large White man chased down what
appeared to be an unarmed, helpless and frightened Black child in front
of Fatburger, a group of White individuals, standing near the Fatburger
crowded around, cheering him on the big White guy, who appeared to
roughly knock the kid into a planter on the level below the main
sidewalk. The big White guy roughly
sat on top of the Black
child. Assisting him in roughly subduing the child was another
big White
guy. The big White men appeared to be proud of their rough
subduction of the
Black child, who was small in stature. The small Black child
did not appear to be resisting the big White men at all. In fact,
the Black child appeared to be completely immobile. The
main big White assailant/apprehender appeared to be putting heavy
pressure on the Black child and to be causing the Black child
considerable pain.
From discussions with the crowd, it was learned that the crowd had been
told by the big White guy who had chased the small Black boy that the
child was a fourteen year old who had stolen a $13 tip. As
far as they were concerned, this made the small Black boy a villainous
thief and the big White sitter a hero. The PHDC chairman asked
the child if
he was OK. The boy had difficulty speaking. He
managed to get out the words that he was in pain. The White crowd
yelled at the PHDC chairman, "Go back to the 60's." They thought
it was right that the Black boy was in pain. To the crowd, rights for
Blacks
belonged dead with Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. To them,
this
was a Black thief who had stolen $13 and who was unworthy of human
rights. They kept reiterating his
crime of stealing $13. The big White man who was holding him
spoke as if the theft of $13 was a major felony. The PHDC chairman
offered to give them $13 if they would stop hurting the kid.
Again, the PHDC chairman was greeted with cries of "Go back to the
60s." The PHDC chairman repeated the offer of $13 if they
would stop roughing up the kid. Neither of the big White guys,
one of whom claimed to be a police officer, nor the crowd was
interested in the $13. The pleasure appeared to be in roughing up
or witnessing the roughing up of a Black kid. There was no
mention of any villainy other than the theft of $13. There
were no other Blacks in the vicinity. Blacks are almost never
seen in the Aliso Viejo Town Center. It was obvious why.
The kid was lucky they were only accusing him of stealing $13 while
injuring him. Or so that was the impression the crowd gave.
Several Orange County Sheriff's cars arrived and one White officer
slammed
the kid against his car and cuffed him. His actions were the type
that might have been viewed as justified for dealing with a dangerous
felon. The PHDC chairman called out to ask if the child was
OK and the cop yelled at the PHDC chairman, frightening her.
The PHDC youth chairman provided the PHDC chairman with a cell phone,
which the PHDC chairman used to call 9-1-1 to express concern over the
mistreatment of the child. The question was why wasn't the big
White guy who assaulted and battered the Black child arrested instead
of a child he claimed stole $13.
A fire truck and ambulance soon drove into the parking lot and the
officers allowed the child to be examined. Thank you to the PHDC
chairman for calling for help.
Later, an Orange County Sheriff's Department Sergeant called the
chairman of the PHDC, who accidentally had the cell phone on speaker
mode, such that the youth chairman was able to hear both ends of the
conversation.
The Sergeant said that the boy was frightened and talking. She
indicated that the person who had been sitting on the boy was a Long
Beach police officer. She did not state whether the frightened
child had been read his rights. She did not say whether
child's statements were fearful acquiescence with what the officers
wanted to hear. Criminal defense attorneys will tell you that
interrogatees often admit to things that aren't true in an effort to
appease their questioners. This is especially true of frightened
youths.
She said that more than $13 was involved. If this was the case,
why did the Long Beach police officer, who had been using the
child as a chair, claim it was $13? Why was this amount repeated
over and
over again? The Sergeant mentioned a knife that the kid
supposedly threw away as he ran, but there was no mention of a knife
when the Long Beach police officer tried to make the kid sound like a
bad guy for stealing $13. If the kid had had a knife, it would have
been a reckless disregard of public safety for the officer to ask
people to stop the child. The PHDC chairman and youth
chairman saw no knife and no act of throwing anything on the part of
the Black child. The only argument the crowd and the
child-sitter had against helping the kid was that he had stolen $13
and that this was no longer the 60s. The concept of a knife
appears to be an after-the-fact fabrication or plant on the part of
someone trying to justify the actions of the Long Beach and Orange
County officers.
If you ask the registrar of voters or certain political parties, 14
year olds are children. 14 year olds are years away from having the
vote. This is because segments of our society consider them too
young to understand what is happening in society. It will be
another 7 years before this kid can drink. Yet, he was old enough
to be attacked by big White guys. Is there something wrong with
that? According to the PHDC chairman and youth chairman,
the boy was very small for a 14 year old, having the physical
appearance of being significantly younger. Is this how Aliso
Viejans treat youths who are too small to defend themselves?
The PHDC chairman has informed the Creative Youth News Team that she
plans to work to end racism in Orange County, California. She
expressed doubts that the Black child committed any crime but stated
that she wouldn't have been surprised if he had been pressured into
confessing to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln in order to protect
himself from further violence. The PHDC chairman's final word on the
subject was, "It's time people and children of all races felt safe in
Orange County. It's the racists who deserve to be sat on and
locked up."
