Racism

Orange

Valerie Baker Fairbank, a white U.S. District Judge appointed by
George W. Bush in 2007 as a means of continuing the white supremacy
movement in Orange County, CA, has ruled in favor of a racist
gang injunction in the City of Orange that targets minorities and
prevents them from associating with each other. In supporting the
anti-minority injunction, she dismissed a suit from the ACLU, designed
to throw out the injunction and to allow Blacks and Latinos to freely
associate.
Hector Villagra said that the ACLU action was dismissed on technical
grounds and they would consider re-submitting it.
Minority groups and civil rights organizations are in shock over
Fairbanks's actions upholding racism in Orange. They are calling
it a sad day for the Constitution.
A young African-American student, who asked not to be identified,
stated
that it is no surprise that a President who targets and kills brown
people in the Middle East would appoint a judge to help protect racism
in the United States.
