Notice to Presidential Candidates:  If You Play With Swine, Don't Be Surprised If You Wind up with Mud and Lipstick on Your Face

Barack Obama's entry into the state senate scene involved the destruction of four liberal Democrats, including civil rights activist and incumbent state senator Alice Palmer.  Though Palmer and other Democrats each had more than the required number of signatures to be on the ballot, Obama's team had enough disqualified (undotted i's, etc) to disqualify all the other Democrats and give him Palmer's state senate seat without a competition.  It was a strong Democratic disctrict and the victory was considered underhanded and undemocratic. Obama's treatment of Palmer was a gift to the Republican Party and was financed by individuals such as slumlord and convicted political corruption artist Tony Rezko.

In 2004, Obama's team had the confidential divorce files of Democratic frontrunner Blair Hull and Republican Jack Ryan opened and exposed and got his two opponents in the primary and general election to drop out shortly before the respective elections.  Obama's destruction of Blair Hull was another gift to the Republicans.

Obama's primary accomplishments in the Illinois State Senate involved changing a nuclear bill, on behalf of his contributor Exelon, to make it easier for nuclear corporations to dump their waste in the backyards of everyone in Illinois and voting "present" 130 times on critical bills.  His 130  "present" votes were 130 gifts to the Republicans.

In the U.S. Senate, his more than 25 votes in support of continued war policy, his five votes to renew the Patriot Act and his votes to confirm Bush's anti-choice, anti-environment, anti-human rights justices were also gifts to the Republicans. Condoleeza Rice was what he considered his kind of woman.  Watch out Michele.  Condi may wind up calling a second President "Husb-."

In the U.S. Senate, Obama promoted coal power, the dirtiest type of energy and the biggest threat to the environment.  He supported dumping national nuclear waste where it would flow into Califonria's irrigation and drinking water.  His poor record on energy and his support for off-shore oil drilling and mass production of Chernobyls and Three Mile Islands are a gift to  Halliburton, Condii's Exxon-Mobil, Dick Cheney, the oil industry and the polluters.

Obama backed an Iron Curtain between the United States and Mexico.  I guess we can't have any of those Mexicans in our country.  This may have something to do with his dramatic loss of the Latino vote in the primaries.  All this was a gift to anti-immigrant, anti-enviroment Republicans.

In the primaries, he and John Edwards ran the most sexist campaign imaginable against Hillary Clinton.  Even liberals who didn't agree with Hillary felt sorry for her.  As Hillary was a better campaigner than Obama and slightly more liberal and wise to the Republican machine, this was another gift to the Republicans.

Obama does not have a health care plan.  This is yet another gift to the Republicans, who are into survival of the fittest.

The undercutting of democracy at the Democratic Convention was also a symbolic gift to the Republicans.  It wiped out Florida and Ohio as a difference between the Democrats and Republcians.  Florida and Michigan delegates were only allowed a vote after it was decided that Obama, who did not have the votes to win the noimination on the first ballot, would win by acclamation, making voting an irrelevant thing of the past.

Obama has moved to be as far right as McCain on foreign policy, energy, and other key issues.  Though Bush and Cheney have committee the highest crimes and misdemeanors of any President or citizen in the history of America, Obama is uncertain of whether Bush and Cheney should be prosoectued.  Obama does not support impeachment.  All this should endear Obama to Bush and Cheney.

As Obama has learned, he may be playing with the pigs and handing the barnyard over the the pigs, but they are dumping mud and lipstick all over him.

After making a comment that was clearly aimed at John McCain (a guy) about putting lipstick on a pig, the Republicans seized on the comment and called Obama sexist.  Normally, an observer would call the attack insane.  Howver, many potential voters are still remembering the attacks on Hillary and reading into a comment about McCain, a guy, something that isn't there.  It seems that Obama's friends in the Republicans Party are ungrateful.  Even worse for Obama, the neocons might not vote for Obama.

4 out of every 5 voters say they will not vote for McCain.  McCain's choice of a woman who believes wars are a task from God has only endeared McCain to the .1% of Americans who are insanely pro-war.  At the Republican Convention, Republicans had to go out on the street, offer free tickets and beg people to attend their Convention.  Ron Paul's forum had a significantly higher crowd than the Republican National Convention. Ron Paul did not have to beg people to show up to be seen.

The Democratic Party had the opportuinity to unite America around the one anti-war candidates who was running for President with the best economic package.  This was Congressman and former Presidential candiadtes Dennis Kucinich, the most admired member of Congress.  Kucinich has been careful to avoid making any mistakes.  He always acts with integrity and does what the public wants.    Kucinich would have been too easy of a win for the Democratic Party.   However, the press and the Democratic Party cut Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich out of the debates in a seeming effort to fix the nomination and to deprive the public of needed information.  This leaves some wondering whether Howard Dean is secretely rooting for McCain..

On Wedesday, September 10th, in Washington D. C. former Presidential candidate and Congressman Ron Paul held a press conference calling on Americans to vote for independent or third party candidates.  Paul, the most popular of the Republican members of Congress, was accompanied by Green nominee Cynthia McKinney, Libertarian nominee Bob Barr, independent candidate Ralph Nader and Constitution Party nominee Chuck Baldwin.

Tbough the right-wing media is conducting polls of mostly Republicans to put McCain ahead, 4 out of 5 Americans will not be voting for McCain.  John McCain is depending on rigged polls and rigged voting technology to put him in the White House.  Barack Obama's next gift to the Republicans may be to give them the White House without fighting for the votes to be counted.
